"Every girl dreams of a marvelous wedding as a young girl & this past March 21st, 2009, I got to put my plans into action. I started planning my wedding back in August-September 2008. Starting off I had no idea where to even begin looking for photographers, catering, etc. I had found a few places but everyone wanted to charge an arm & a leg….my husband & I just couldn’t afford what many companies wanted because we wanted to have an inexpensive but elegant wedding. So I got online and started my search. Google & Yahoo didn’t help so I turned to myspace.com because I knew there were all kinds of people/networks on there. I searched for wedding photographers and a bunch of profiles popped up. I searched through until I found JT Photography. I read through all of Tonya’s information and decided to contact her to get more. She had the best prices & very reasonable. She was easy to work with & we clicked instantly while talking. After talking everything over w/ my husband he said if I felt ok with everything and wasn’t sketchy or felt like it was scam then it was ok to book her. Tonya is very professional as well as laid back. She presents you with a folder/packet of information along with an invoice of anything you have booked with her. It is nice because you can make payments all the way up until one week before your wedding day. Makes it so much easier to afford when you don’t have to pay everything up front! I decided to have my bridals and wedding day photographed by JT Photography & had a blast doing both sessions. My bridals turned out to be a COLD day but Tonya made it enjoyable for me to where I didn’t even think of the coldness! I love the fact that she offers her opinions in poses but also up for any ideas you may have. She’s not bossy in any way & wants to make your day the most enjoyable as possible! Half the time we weren’t even trying to pose & she would snap things we done & they turned out beautiful. I love the fact that she offers to come out to your rehearsal at no extra charge just so she can see the setup and get a feel of how things are going to be on the wedding day, that way there is really no confusion & less questioning when there are a million other things going on! Besides my experience with JT Photography, Tonya’s work is excellent & very beautiful. Anyone I run across looking for a photographer I automatically pull out her card and recommend because all of her work is beautiful….not just the wedding part!"

After browsing through MANY photographers websites, I couldn't find ANYone that could even come close to Tonya's style. I didn't want every day run of the mill "portrait" and staged type pictures. I wanted something unique. I have so far had my engagement pictures done and have hired JT Photography for my wedding and t...his is one area (photography) that I am not nervous about AT all. I know that I will be just as happy with my wedding pictures as I am with my engagements. I am totally confident in them and that is a GREAT feeling! Tonya has an upbeat personality and really lets you be yourself, but will direct you at the same time to get a great shot. I would so highly recommend her and have to anyone and everyone!

There is not enough space, or time for me to say everything that I want to say about Tonya and Jason. They photographed our wedding and the pictures were absolutely beautiful. Jason and Tonya (and family) were not only absolutely wonderful to work with; but our portraits from Reynolda Garden and Old Salem turned out PERFECT!
